Energylandia

Energylandia in Zator puts 133 attractions on 90 hectares. The park calls itself Poland's largest, and its roller-coaster page lists 20 coasters, including Pepsi Hyperion at 77 metres and 142 km/h. From Kraków, plan a full day: hours change by date, and the water park runs mainly in summer, in favourable weather, at 20°C or above.

A full day on 90 hectares

Energylandia is an amusement park in Zator, between the Kraków and Katowice metropolitan areas. The operator calls it Poland's largest: 133 attractions on 90 hectares.

The park describes the visit as a full day, from opening to closing. There is no single weekly clock, and some dates are closed, so the shape of the day depends on the calendar for that date.

What the zones are for

Fairytale Land is the area for younger children. The park says 28 attractions are intended for toddlers from the age of two. The Family Zone includes water rides and a sightseeing train, and some rides there require 140 cm. The Extreme Zone holds the largest coasters, plus the Aztec Swing pendulum and Space Booster, a 40-metre arm listed at 100 km/h and nearly 5 g.

The roller-coaster page lists 20 coasters. Pepsi Hyperion, in the Extreme Zone, is described as the tallest and fastest mega coaster in Europe. Its specification lists 77 metres, 142 km/h, an 85-degree drop of over 80 metres, 4.8 G and 1,450 metres of track, for riders 140–195 cm. Zadra, in Dragon Zone, is called the biggest hybrid roller coaster in the world: 63.8 metres, 121 km/h, 4 G, 1,316 metres of track, a 90-degree drop, three inversions and a ride of 1 minute 50 seconds. The minimum height is 140 cm. The park gives that zone as 5 hectares around the coaster.

Pick the zone before the day starts. A toddler day stays in Fairytale Land, a mixed group can use the Family Zone, and Hyperion, Zadra and Speed are the reason to cross into the Extreme Zone and Dragon Zone.

Speed, also in the Extreme Zone, is the water coaster. The specification lists 60 metres and 110 km/h, for riders 140–195 cm, and the page marks it open in the summer season. Aqualantis is the sea-adventure area, with Abyssus as the main ride and 10 attractions on the about page. Sweet Valley is described as 4 hectares and 10 attractions, including the family coasters Choco Chip Creek and Honey Harbour. Both are on the current coaster list.

What changes the shape of the day

Tropical Fun, in the Water Park, is 14 slides. The park calls that zone the biggest open water park in Poland. It runs mainly in summer, in favourable weather, at 20°C or above. A board at the entrance states whether it is open, so a day built around the pools depends on that board.

Height limits are set on the board at each ride, on the park map and on the website. A general age label leaves the decision to height, health and the safety system of that ride.

FAQ

What does an Energylandia admission ticket include?

It includes available attractions, rides and shows, plus the Water Park zone when operating. Food, arcade games, selected service stands and shop purchases are extra.

Can visitors with limited mobility use every ride?

Not necessarily. Access is assessed ride by ride. A Service Desk for Persons with Disabilities at the main entrance advises on suitable attractions. Visually impaired visitors can use roller coasters. Designated parking is free after showing a parking card at the ticket office.

How do I get there from Kraków?

The park's access page lists trains from Kraków's main station to Zator Amusement Park, but the printed timetable is marked valid only through 31 August 2024. Check a live railway planner. Car parking at the entrance is PLN 30 for the day. Tour coaches park free.

Do electronic tickets require a separate reservation?

No. The official ticket information says the emailed ticket can be shown on a smartphone and no park-entry reservation is required.

Is the Water Park a separate ticket?

No. It is included in the park ticket and cannot be bought alone.

What if the park is closed on the next day of a multi-day ticket?

Two-day and three-day tickets must be used on consecutive calendar days from the first entry. A closure on a following day does not move that entry to a later opening.

Where should current opening hours be checked?

Use the official calendar. Published patterns include 10:00–18:00, 10:00–20:00 and a Winter Kingdom block of 11:30–18:30, and some dates are marked closed.

How long can a queue be?

The park sets no upper capacity. On weekends and sunny days the regulations say a wait can run longer than 60 minutes, and boards in the park show the current expected wait.

Can a pregnant visitor use the rides?

Attractions are prohibited. The park points pregnant visitors to Water Park pools, when that zone is open, and to shows. A reduced ticket is sold at the ticket offices against a pregnancy card.

Are dogs allowed?

No. The park also says not to leave a dog in the car.
